NAC JUNIOR ROWING FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

NAC varsity teams have won countless State Championships and the US Junior National Championship 6 times since 1996. Each year, many of our graduating seniors are recruited to the top universities in the country and we currently have over 200 high school age boys and girls training here at the Newport Aquatic Center six days a week.

Past donations have facilitated the aforementioned results and future teams will rely on the generosity of this year’s donors to find the same successes.

NAC Dragon Boat

The NAC Dragon Boat Team was the first dragon boat team in Orange County and has been going strong since 2003. We welcome men and women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds who love being part of a team, working out and having fun.

NAC WOW

The NAC currently offers a women’s competitive and recreational rowing program. The Women on Water (WOW) are made up of women of all ages and experience.  WOW was formed in 2000 by a group of mothers whose sons and daughters were rowing for the NAC Junior Team.  Inspired by the medal-winning Juniors, they banded together to start their own rowing Program at The Newport Aquatic Center.  Since that time, the group has grown and expanded into a competitive Masters team more than 35 strong.
