Paddlers and rowers of every age and level of ability use the NAC to sharpen their skills in rowing, canoeing, outrigger canoeing, and kayaking.
PROGRAMS
Beginners come to improve their physical condition, enjoy the aesthetic and competitive aspects of these sports and intrinsically experience the spirit of the NAC.
CALENDAR
Throughout the year the NAC hosts various events which attract those from the community and beyond.
CAMPS
At NAC camps kids explore the Back Bay while learning the basics of water safety, kayaking, outrigger paddling, and stand up paddling.

As a member of the junior rowing program, rowing at NAC has been a great experience! The coaches are extremely positive and supportive, and the team built here is incredibly dedicated to the program. Every day I have a blast training here, and the equipment and facilities are really nice. NAC has helped me grow both as a rower and as a teammate, and I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else.

Wonderful relaxing beach with resourceful aquatic center. My daughter rented a two person kayak for us and it was a BLAST!
The Newport Backbay waterway is so kuch fun for many types of boats, boards, etc. Everyone very friendly, the weather was great and after kayaking we chilled on the sandy beach. Super memory. Highly recommended.

First time paddle boarding and renting from NAC. Great customer service provided from Reese! Super friendly and was able to direct us on what course to take along with advice for first timers.

Excellent non profit organization! Low cost membership to use all kayaks, paddle boards and boating equipment. Full work out gym with lots of free weights, rowing machines, showers and bathroom. Great club to belong to if you are near Newport Beach. Back Bay is special, and we paddle there for a workout, so this spot with free parking makes it even better. Highly recommend North Star beach as well for paddle board launching spot into Back Bay. Newport Aquatic Center is a top notch service and club, worth looking into for yourself and whole family. We featured this spot on YouTube @hikebytes with a paddle board beginning lesson, and reveal other great beginner spots near Newport Beach.

We all had a great time paddling around. The flying fish and various birds were fun to watch. We especially loved that they allow pups to join on the kayaks 💕 All equipment was in good condition. The free parking and little swim beach were also great bonuses.

We had a great experience at the Newport Aquatic Centre located in Newport Beach, CA! The facility was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.
Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend it for families& friends.
We went kayaking this morning and rented both single and double kayaks, which were in great condition. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the rental process smooth and easy. There's also a huge parking lot with plenty of space, and parking is free. The location is beautiful, with easy access to the water and stunning views. Overall, it was a fantastic outing!
