NAC Junior Outrigger Team
The NAC Junior Outrigger Team has been offering a safe and fun way to get out of the gym, off the field and onto the water for over 20 years. This Junior recreational and competitive outrigger team is for high school and junior high school students ages 10-19 years old.
Project P.R.I.D.E from the city of Santa Ana is also involved in the Junior Outrigger program. Project PRIDE provides positive alternatives for youths through family and teen recreation and volunteer activities that provide opportunities for all family members, young and old engage in physical activity and to make meaningful contributions to their communities in ways that bring recognition and help them earn respect.
PROGRAM GOALS: Our paddling program provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for high school student/athletes that incorporates a high level of team work and physical conditioning. Although the program is highly structured and competitive, there is a strong emphasis placed on enjoyment and respect for our outdoor environment. A wonderful chance to build friendships. Paddling brings together boys and girls of all backgrounds for a common goal.
- Monday–Wednesday–Thursday-Friday: 3:30-5:30pm (RAIN or SHINE)
- Paddlers should come prepared to run and or paddle to every practice. Bring shoes and a water bottle everyday
- When ever a practice is canceled, you will be notified by the coaches.
