Last week, Project Independence, a non-profit organization that helps adults with developmental disabilities live independently and organize fun activities, partnered with Makapo Aquatics for a paddle day here at NAC! A dozen or so participants from Project Independence got on the water in double-hull Outrigger Canoes along with Makapo staff and volunteers for a fun day on the water.
