Last month, NAC and Makapo’s RJ De Rama was honored for exemplary leadership and community service from the Angel Light Academy. RJ is not only a fixture and outrigger paddler here at NAC but the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Makapo Aquatic Project. Makapo is a nonprofit partner program of NAC that provides mixed-ability outrigger paddling programs promoting teamwork, confidence, and community.
