Over the past month, Head Coach Weston Cole and 10 of our junior women crossed the Atlantic to race on some of rowing’s most legendary waters. First stop: Henley Women’s Regatta, where NAC entered a quad and a coxed four. Both crews pushed through a competitive field in time trials, advancing to the next round before their runs came to a close. Solid racing on a big international stage.

But the main event? Henley Royal Regatta—one of the oldest and most prestigious regattas in the world. Thanks to NAC’s top-5 finish at the US National Championships, our crew earned a bye in the first round. In round two, they lined up against Tideway Scullers and battled stroke for stroke through 1500 meters before pulling away in the final stretch to claim the win.

After a day of recovery, they faced a powerhouse crew from Headington—the reigning Prince Philip Cup champions—in the quarterfinals. The NAC girls gave it everything, but this time, Headington came out ahead.

We couldn’t be prouder of how these athletes represented NAC on the world stage. Huge thanks to all our sponsors and supporters—this kind of opportunity doesn’t happen without you. These girls walked away with more than just race experience—they made memories for life.
