August 7, 2025 – Trakai, Lithuania
Two NAC alumni are representing the U.S. National Team this week at the U19 World Championships in Trakai, Lithuania Katie Dahl in the Women’s 8+ and Augie Freijo in the Men’s 8+.
Katie Dahl: Women’s 8+ | Headed to the A Final
Katie and the U.S. Women’s 8+ put together a strong piece in their heat, finishing second behind Great Britain and locking in their spot in Sunday’s A Final. The top six crews in the world will line up this weekend, and Katie will be right in the mix, chasing a world title.
Augie Freijo: Men’s 8+ | Set for the B Final
Augie raced in the Men’s 8+ heat earlier this week. The U.S. crew placed 5th and will compete in Sunday’s B Final. Not the result they were hoping for, but still a chance to finish the regatta strong and put together a great last piece on the world stage.
Proud Moments for NAC Rowing
It’s always a big deal to have NAC athletes racing internationally—especially at a regatta like this. Both Katie and Augie have rowed for NAC for years and continue to represent our program with class, toughness, and pride.
We’ll be following their races closely on Sunday. Let’s go USA. Lets Go NAC!
