Strong racing in a competitive field, with good rhythm and commitment through the middle of the course.
  • Boys Varsity 8+ – 1st Place
A composed and disciplined race from start to finish. The crew executed well under pressure and beat out the 2V for a comfortable win.
  • Girls Varsity 8+ – 1st Place
A sharp race with good composure, reinforcing the standard we expect from this group.

Race of the Day: U16 Boys 8+

The race of the day came from the U16 Boys 8+, who put together an outstanding effort in a highly competitive race. The group showed grit, composure, and a willingness to compete all the way through the line. Performances like this are a great indicator of the trajectory of the younger groups and speak to the work being done across the program.

Coaching Takeaways

We feel that Presidents Day is an early indicator of the program’s spring speed.  Overall we were pleased with the depth of competitiveness and how the athletes conducted themselves on the race course.
