This summer, Gaby Laurent stepped into a leading role with NAC’s We Are Ocean Camp, guiding participants with her trademark warmth, resilience, and positive spirit. She also joined the NAC Team on the start line of the Wild Buffalo Race, bringing her energy and determination to one of the community’s most celebrated races.
Gaby lives in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, with her husband and their two precious sons. A beacon of hope, she is passionate about sharing her personal journey through life’s challenges in order to inspire others. With a deep appreciation for the outdoors, Gaby can often be found tending her garden and compost heap or walking while tuned into a favorite podcast.
She holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling, a reflection of her lifelong commitment to supporting others on their own journeys. Beyond her professional and athletic accomplishments, Gaby’s greatest joys come from sharing laughter with her husband, cherishing moments with family and friends, and celebrating the beauty of life’s simple pleasures.
Whether on the water with NAC or at home in Tennessee, Gaby continues to embody the values of community, resilience, and joy that define the We Are Ocean spirit. Check out the video below of Gaby being interviewed on Mark Schulein’s Podcast!
